Description of the role

The role of the Country Marketing Manager within betPawa is to create impactful marketing activities within your market, to grow our user base and create brand loyalty; and build a strong relationship with key partners and players in the gaming and sports industry.

The Country Marketing Manager will be reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager of his region. The Country Marketing Manager will have a Marketing Coordinator reporting to him.

Key Competencies

●    Excellent understanding of strategy, concepts and frameworks and ability to produce marketing plans for marketing channels that align with the core marketing strategy..

●    Ability to present the brand with confidence and the ability to tolerate high-pressure situations.

●    Strong Leadership and communication skills

●    Adaptability and creativity when creating goal-driven marketing plans

●    Strong ownership, proven record of owning and delivering on goals, unsupervised

KPIs

●    Drive customer acquisition and retention

●    Deliver campaigns performance and ROI

●    Strategic planning of market activities

●    Marketing budget planning and management

Role

Key responsibilities:

●    Produce local marketing plans for campaigns and activities that align with your country’s marketing goals. Lead on our marketing activities to grow users within your market

●    Ensure compliance with all local advertising guidelines

●    Be the local spokesperson for the brand with the governing body

●    Manage partnerships and suppliers to deliver value

●    Budget planning, analysis and bringing in data-driven learnings

Local Marketing Strategy & Planning & Execution

●    Planning and executing marketing campaigns within your market

●    Proposing and managing  Sponsorship deals and CSR initiatives

●    Ensure that all tracking requirements are in place for a campaign where possible

Relationship Management

●    Present and manage partnerships that match brand and product

●    Manage relationships with any influencers or important Winners used in marketing

●    Manage relationship with the Gaming Board

●    Manage engagement and output with local agencies used for campaigns

Administrative

●    Manage and report on country marketing budget, driving value and ROI

●    Understand and manage Gaming Board regulations and approvals

Team management

●    Manage Country Coordinator and work hand-in-hand to deliver

●    Manage agency relationships and performance wherever relevant

●    Support the rest of the Marketing team in the collation and interpretation of campaign results and make recommendations for improvements.

Preferred qualifications and experience

●    Minimum 5 years of experience working in a similar role

●    Degree in Marketing or equivalent

●    Project Management skills

●    Relationship and stakeholder management experience

●    Excellent English and French language skills

●    Computer skills  such as Google Suite, analytics and project management tools

●    Beneficial: You have a passion for football and/or sports betting
