The National School of Posts and Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (SUP’PTIC), is a vocational and technical education establishment which was created on October 3, 1969. When it was created, the school was called the Federal School of Posts and Telecommunications. On October 14, 1982, the institution underwent a name change and became the National School of Posts and Telecommunications; It will be reorganized in 1992 according to decree No 92/050 of March 24, 1992.
In 2012, the school joined the LMD system and came under the academic supervision of MINESUP
In 2016, in a context marked by the development of new information, communication and digital economy technologies in the world in general and in Cameroon in particular, the name of the school changed again thanks to the presidential decree. No. 2016/425 of October 26, 2016, and becomes: National School of Posts and Telecommunications and ICT.

ARTICLE 1: It is open at the single centre of Yaoundé, on October 06 and 07, 2022 of competitions for the recruitment of Inspectors of Posts and Telecommunications and Telecommunications Works Engineers, as part of work-study training, at the National School of Posts, Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (SUP’PTIC) in Yaoundé.
