OFFER DESCRIPTION
A. BACKGROUND
As part of its administrative support mission for projects, the GIZ Regional Office is looking for a Finance and Accounting Intern .
B. FIELD OF ACTIVITY
The intern is required to: contribute to the performance of the tasks of the entire Finance Department.
In this context, the incumbent has the following responsibilities:
C. AWARDS
Under the supervision of the designated internship supervisor, the intern must:
- Contribute to the identification and rigorous filing of supporting documents in accordance with GIZ rules;
- Photocopy and scan documents as needed;
- Contribute to the organization and assembly of accounting documents;
- Contribute to the verification of accounting documents and their compliance before archiving;
- Contribute to the collection and preparation of travel advances and accounts;
- Be willing to get involved in other cross-functional activities;
- Contribute to the execution of all other tasks assigned by his internship supervisor.
REQUIRED PROFILE
D. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Qualifications:
- Hold at least a BAC+3/4 in Accounting and/or Finance, or another similar field obtained less than 18 months ago (produce the certificate of achievement or the transcript).

Professional experience :
- 2 internship experiences or 1st professional experience in an international structure or development company would be an asset.
Other knowledge/skills
- Confidential treatment of data and information.
- Very good command of French and English. Knowledge of German would be an asset.
- Acquisition of qualifications required in the field of attributions.
- Strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail.
- Good knowledge of digitalization tools
- Respect of deadlines.
Contract start date: 15th October 2022
Contract period : 3 months
Duty station : Yaoundé
Internal classification: Internship, under the supervision of the Internal Auditor/Verifier.
Deadline for admissibility of application files: 20th September 2022.
Eligibility conditions: The last diploma dating from less than 18 months.
