Imo Governor appoints new Vice-Chancellor f Imo State University of Agriculture and Sciences. Professor Patrick Egbule was relieved of his position as VC through a statement issued by BH Cosmas Iwu, the Secretary to the State Government.

Professor Christopher Chiedozie Eze is to assume the acting VC of the university with immediate effect.

The statement reads that the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Hope Uzpdinma, has approved the immediate removal of Professor Patrick Egbule as the acting VC of the varsity.

Through the law establishing the university, Uzodinma had approved the immediate appointment of Professor Christopher as the acting VC of the institution. The governor wishes the former acting VC, Professor Patrick well in his future endeavour as he charges the new acting VC to apply himself to the highest standard in the affairs of the young institution.
