Here is the list of National Identity Cards available at the Center identification post CE08 in Cameroon. All those who had their ID Cards processed from this centre should download the list and check if their names are on it.
If your names are on this list, then it will mean your NIC is already available.
NIC tracking in Cameroun also possible by WhatsApp
Following recurring requests from users to obtain their national identity cards (CNI), the General Delegation for National Security (DGSN), now allows them to be informed via dedicated contacts.
Finally a sigh of relief for thousands of Cameroonians who are impatiently awaiting the issuance of their identity documents. The DGSN has just made two WhatsApp telephone numbers available to them: 693 30 23 55 and 695 70 62 91. These contacts have been operational since January 19, 2021.
How it works ?
According to the details of the competent services of the General Delegation for National Security, all you have to do is film your receipt and send the image to one of the WhatsApp numbers. After studying the applicant’s situation, he will receive one of the following messages depending on his case: “Your card is available and you must go to the identification point corresponding to the issue of your receipt”; “your CNI is being produced and will be available in the next few days”; “you are in a situation of double identity so you must start the process of your identification again by specifying your request when the first identity is returned”; “your CNI cannot be produced because of incorrect information, so you must identify yourself again at the identification point of your choice”.
Other details
The General Delegation of National Security informs the national opinion that these numbers: 693 30 23 55 and 695 70 62 91, are WhatsApp only and do not receive calls. You shouldn’t transfer messages there. This measure aims to limit unnecessary and costly travel for users and crowds in police stations. But also to avoid saturation of the 1500 telephone line.
