GCE 2022: A group of NW Teachers files a complaint against underpayment

GCE 2022: A group of NW Teachers files a complaint against underpayment of invigilation dues and writing material for TVEE for the 2022 examination sessions.

The North West region, just like the South West has been affected by the socio-political crisis with teachers attacked and even murdered alongside students. This has made the teaching profession a very risky one in these regions.

According to these 12 teachers, in a letter addressed to the registrar of the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board, they follow the new rules that allocate 15 candidates per invigilator for papers 1 and 30 per invigilator for papers 2 and 3.

These teachers are unsatisfied that they follow the new rules but got underpaid as the dues they received didn’t match the number of sessions.
