The road leading to Nkambe is in deplorable condition making it very difficult for vehicles and passengers to access the road.
A bus carrying passengers has been struggling to make its way through on the terrible road. The road is characterised by thick mud which has been as a result of a downpour (rain).
Passengers and other road users have resulted to pushing the bus to enable it move.

It is worthy to note that the division had once been disconnected by road for close to 4 years when separatist fighters in Bui ordered the closure of traffic on the road accusing people in Nkambe of turning their back on their struggle for independence and not sympathizing with them.
They said, Nkambe people were not respecting ghost town operations, calls for lockdowns, school boycott, and boycott of national day celebrations amongst others.
Nkambe is the headquarters of Donga Mantung in the North West region of Cameroon.
