The Kwara State Government has provided free transportation to all interested students attending tertiary institutions in the Northern region of the nation upon the start of academic activities as a sign of its sympathetic disposition toward the predicament of students.

In the wake of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ eight-month strike suspension, this took place.

This was revealed at a meeting in Ilorin on Monday by the commissioner for higher education, Dr. Alabi Abolore.

When a potential recipient opens an account on the web platform, the commissioner further revealed that the Ministry is also about to finish disbursing bursaries.
