Anglophone crisis: An alleged separatist arrested in Limbe. Fang Jude was a former employee of the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC).
He was arrested last September 23 at the CDC in Bota, Limbe, where he intended to collect money for the burial of his mother. According to local media sources, Fang Jude worked at Malende Rubber Estate in Muyuka. He reportedly gave up his job to join the separatist movement.
Returned to the headquarters of the company, he was identified as a victim of his atrocities at the CDC camp at CAMDEV II, Malende. The latter reported the company’s officials who alerted the gendarmes.
Fang Jude was arrested and is currently in custody at the South West Gendarmerie Legion in Buea. He is being questioned about his alleged relationship with the separatists and the destruction and attacks on the CDC and its employees. He could be brought to court in the near future for trial.
