Activist Joe La Conscience makes Godasse coffin for late indomitable lion Jacques Nguea. This native of Loum in the Moungo knew how to mark his generation. He played for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 53 times. Nicknamed “La Gazelle” for his burst of speed, he began his career with Ouragan de Loum. His city has chosen to pay a vibrant tribute to the latter by making a Godasse coffin for the last journey on earth of the deceased indomitable lion in retirement. It is the work of activist Joe La Conscience.

Jacques Nguea Enongue died on June 1st 2022, at the age of 67. The former Canon de Yaoundé player was part of the Cameroon selection which played in the World Cup in Spain in 1982, the very first of the Indomitable Lions and the 1984 African Cup of Nations won by Cameroon in Abidjan.
